Document Tools — plain-English translator, ToS/privacy policy risk scanner, and contract risk highlighter.
Last updated: August 3, 2026
We built these tools to be safe to use with sensitive documents. Your uploaded documents are processed in memory to generate your result and are sent only to Anthropic (the AI provider powering these tools) for that single request — they are never written to disk, never stored on our servers, and never used to train any AI model. We don't sell your data to anyone, and we don't run advertising trackers.
When you paste text, upload a file, or paste a URL into one of our tools, that content is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate your plain-English explanation, risk scan, or clause review. This happens in memory, in real time, for the sole purpose of producing your result. We do not retain a copy of your documents after your result is returned, and we do not use your content to train any AI model — this runs on Anthropic's business API, which by default is not used for model training.
Please avoid uploading documents containing extremely sensitive identifiers (e.g. full government ID numbers, passwords, or payment card numbers) beyond what's naturally present in the type of document the tool is meant for (insurance letters, contracts, policies, etc.).
Our server briefly uses your IP address for anti-abuse purposes only — to apply fair daily usage limits per visitor and to detect referral fraud. This is held in memory and resets whenever our server restarts (which happens routinely); it is not a permanent record tied to you.
If you subscribe for additional usage, payment is handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your card details — Stripe's own privacy policy governs that data.
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above. Continued use of the tools after a change means you accept the updated policy.
